German doctors who arrived in Omsk will get acquainted with the condition of opposition leader Alexey Navalny. This was announced by the chief doctor of the city emergency hospital Alexander Murakhovsky, reports TASS.
“We also invited German specialists who arrived in Omsk on a resuscitation plane to get acquainted with the patient’s condition and research results at our clinic,” he said, adding that doctors are currently being sent to the hospital.
Murakhovsky stressed that Omsk doctors are doing everything possible to stabilize Navalny’s condition together with colleagues from the Moscow Burdenko neurosurgery Center and the Pirogov National medical and surgical center.
Earlier, on August 21, the main diagnosis of the opposition leader hospitalized in Omsk was called “metabolic disorders”. The chief doctor of the hospital clarified that the patient has a violation of the carbohydrate balance. According to him, this caused a sharp drop in blood sugar.
Alexey Navalny was hospitalized on August 20 after feeling ill during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow. The crew urgently sat down in Omsk, where the opposition leader was hospitalized in an ambulance in the toxicoreanimation Department of the emergency hospital No. 1. He is in a serious condition.
